Maternity Photos ~ Newborn Session ~

I was overjoyed that this couple wanted me to be their photographer for these two momentous photography sessions. I am always so happy when someone trusts me with their precious newborn, and wants me to be a part of such a special time in their lives. For the maternity session, they also included their first babies…Hazel and Bandit! It was truly a family affair 🙂

Peek-a-boo!

I know I treasure the moments I have from my maternity photo session, and the one below, is similar to some of my own favorites…I love how comfortable a couple is in the intimacy of knowing they are about to become a family. The last few moments alone, the way it all started…”just the two of us.”

I truly believe there is nothing more gorgeous than a pregnant mama! She is absolutely stunning…glowing….radiant.

Bandit couldn’t help himself…he wanted to be included in all the intimate moments!

This gorgeous mama requested silhouettes, and I was thrilled with the way these turned out…they are not full silhouettes, but they couldn’t be better, in my opinion. The sun is shining on their future.

Maternity Photos ~ Newborn Session….This newborn session couldn’t have gone more smoothly. Their precious little one let me dress her up in the cutest little outfits. You saw the couple included their dogs in the maternity session…just wait until you see a few of these newborn photos…this little girl is destined to be a dog lover!

She is just too lovely…I love how this black and white image, below, shows off her beautiful eyes!

This is so amazing, below, as she channels her older puppy siblings. She looks very happy, wearing those ears! 🙂

Okay, maybe they are lovers of all animals…who could resist cuddling with the adorable baby owl, below? Reminds me of the book I’ve been reading to my little girl lately…called “Little Owl’s Night.” The little owl asks mama to tell again how night ends, “But Little Owl did not hear. He was fast asleep.”

I always love a super simple, classic newborn image, like the ones below. So dreamy.

I’d say this little girl was good to me…I was able to capture so many different looks, and she slept through it all. She played the part of two different animals, and still let me put her in a basket! I love this girl.
