Travel Destination Photography ~ Hawaii

I really enjoyed capturing the Hawaii travel destination photography, from my husband and I’s trip to Maui last year. This was our first time traveling to Hawaii, and it was definitely magical. We now understand what all the hype is about 🙂 We are expecting a baby in June, so this was probably the last vacation just the two of us, for a while! This getaway will always have a special place in our hearts. The following images show some of my favorite moments and some of the best qualities of this unique island. Hawaii is such a special place, I feel like I could go back, and get an entirely new set of images…this is one of those places, where you start planning the next trip, while you’re still there!

Don’t you think?Hawaii Travel Destination PhotographyI can’t tell you how many times we stopped at a roadside fruitstand, for papayas, bananas, starfruit and coconuts…yum 🙂 Have you ever tried pickled mango? Mmmmm……Hawaii Travel Destination PhotographyHawaii Travel Destination PhotographyHawaii Travel Destination PhotographyWe had fun exploring the island, and had to stop in Kihei, to try a beer at the Maui Brewing Co.Hawaii Travel Destination PhotographyHawaii Travel Destination PhotographyHawaii Travel Destination PhotographyHawaii Travel Destination PhotographyOne of our favorite things on this trip was beach hopping and snorkeling…never gets old to spot a sea turtle! It was so interesting the way the sky could change in an instant, and create so many gorgeous photo opportunities. Hawaii Travel Destination PhotographyHawaii Travel Destination PhotographyHawaii Travel Destination PhotographyHawaii Travel Destination PhotographyHawaii Travel Destination PhotographyHawaii Travel Destination PhotographyHawaii Travel Destination PhotographyWe tackled the Road to Hana, and while we really enjoyed it, we probably should have left a little earlier…especially since I wanted to eat at Mama’s Fish House and do a little shopping in Paia, on the way! I think my husband had a different idea of what the trip was supposed to be about 🙂 …but, hey, we made it and we’re still happily married!Hawaii Travel Destination PhotographyThis is one of my favorite travel destination photography shots…the country road feel, with the clouds and the green mountains. I would love to explore the country life, even more.

I wanted to end this blog post with a double rainbow. While we were driving, it started to rain, and we didn’t stop to put the top on the Jeep…as I was holding my camera under my shirt and covering what I could in the backseat, I was starting to get a little worried that we should have stopped but we just kept driving…suddenly, the rain let up, and we were then treated to this double rainbow. Hawaii Travel Destination PhotographyContact Kelsey Crews Photo, if you are looking for a travel destination wedding photographer!
