I’m a little late posting these Santa Barbara Newborn Family Portraits…and, by little, I mean a lot. This little guy is not so teeny tiny any more…in fact, I saw he just had his first haircut, the other day.

I’m excited about this post, because it was such a special family photo session…I was very honored to be this cutie pie’s newborn photographer, as his Mom is also a professional photographer, in town. I have worked with Ashleigh Taylor Photography quite a bit, over the years, and was so thrilled when she trusted me with her precious newborn baby. Isn’t he the sweetest?! He has always had the best personality, but I guess that comes natural, because his Mom is quite entertaining as well 🙂

Don’t be afraid to hire hair & makeup for your session…being a new mother is not always easy, and this is one way to ensure that you will feel more comfortable and less stressed for the newborn family portraits session. I can definitely recommend the perfect hair & makeup artist for your session. I usually recommend waiting to feed the baby until the beginning of the session, in order to achieve prime sleepiness. That way, we have the best chance of moving the baby around for different poses, while he or she is sleeping.
