"If you ask me, life is too short not to have a positive attitude. I'm a mid-western, small-town girl from Indiana, though my love of photography has led me all over the country. My photographic career began years ago, in the darkroom. I use that to approach each wedding with an artistic eye. I love capturing real emotion and fun moments of spontaneity. I know beautiful images can happen naturally and comfortably. I like getting to know the bride and groom so that I can put them at ease, and approach their wedding appropriately.

I really care about the end result. I become invested in my clients weddings, and I look at each wedding like it's my own. I know what goes into planning each detail, and I remember how important the photography was to me on my wedding day.

Aside from creating imagery that lasts a lifetime, my favorite part of shooting a wedding is being able to help it go as smoothly as possible. There is nothing better than helping a bride relax on her wedding day.

My photography is fresh, organic, simple and classic. I have a photo-journalistic and artistic style, while still making sure I capture the classic portraiture that highlights each person at their best. I love creating work that captures the unique feel of each wedding.
