Celebrating 12 Months
I’d like to take a moment of thanks. First of all, I want to thank my little girl, for making me a mom. Not only did she make me a mom, but she has also given me such a wonderful experience. I could not have asked for a better baby. She makes me feel lucky every day. I’m a little late posting her 12 month photo…probably because I still can’t believe a year has passed. Plus, I’ll have to accept the fact that I will probably always be at my busiest right around her birthday. The weekend of her birthday I had a wedding on Friday, a wedding on Saturday and her birthday party on Sunday.
It is a good kind of busy…my life is full, in the best way possible.
Thank you, to my husband as well, for making me a mom 🙂 He has been so supportive, he is such a great father, and I know I’m lucky to have the life that I have with Lendel. Pretty sure I get to spend a little more time with Lendel than he does, so Mike really does deserve my heartfelt thanks, for letting me have this opportunity. I can’t even tell you how much he does for this family, and I’m sure he would rather be spending more time with Lendel. I know I am blessed to spend as much time with her as I do!
REALLY want to thank Tracey, of Ella & Louie, for helping me with this photo project. When I came up with the idea, I didn’t think it would be possible. I never would have been able to do this without Tracey…she actually made it easy for me, and the year went by quicker than I ever thought possible. I truly can’t say enough good things about Tracey…she is absolutely amazing!
How could I go on without thanking our friends and family? You know who you are, but you don’t know how much we appreciate everything you have done for us. Every little tiny thing matters so much when you have a child. THANK YOU, EVERYONE!
Back to Lendel…this girl has many qualities, but the thing we say the most is how sweet she is all the time. Don’t get me wrong, sometimes I call her a “stinker” too 🙂 …she is definitely a handful, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Even though she’s a spitfire, I usually call her something like love bug, my little love muffin, honey bunny, or sugar plum. Lately, I’ve been calling her hun buns.
I love her curiosity, and I love how she wants to do everything for herself. She is so determined, and is mostly walking instead of crawling, now. It kind of hit me hard the other day, when I realized she isn’t really crawling any more. I swear she wants to walk just so she can dance…she is full of dancing and laughter, especially in the morning when there is no music and I am half asleep. It’s the best thing ever. She laughs out loud much more than she used to…for some reason, she has always had the tendency to hold back her laughter but it’s coming out more and more, which I love.
Thank you, Lendel, for making Mommy a better person!
