Seven Month Baby Photo

This girl is on the move! She definitely doesn’t want to be lying on her back any more 🙂 …I don’t know how I’m going to capture the coming months…look at her in this photo…she’s ready to run out of the frame!!

She now has two bottom teeth, about halfway through. She started sitting up on her own over the holidays, while we were in our home state of Indiana. Now that we’re back, she’s already crawling, which has quickly turned into climbing over everything! She can’t be contained!!

I do believe this means we’ve entered the head bumping stage…scary for Mommy sometimes, but Lendel is so determined to pull herself up onto anything possible, even if she’s a little wobbly, sometimes. I want to keep her from hurting herself, but I also want her to learn!

One of the big things she has recently learned is how to sleep better. While a little sad at the time, I am so glad that she now has her own room. I never thought I would let her cry herself to sleep, but after one night of it, she is now able to self soothe and fall asleep on her own. We kind of worked our way up to that point, because I wasn’t able to just completely go for it right away…but, I really can’t believe how well it worked. I felt awful when we were first trying it, but the next night was magical…and, most importantly, she is still a happy baby! I love this girl. Her  happiness makes me a happier person, every single day.
