Four Months Old!

I am a little late posting this, but Lendel is four months old, now! I have to say, Lendel is pretty pumped to be 4 months old…she just recently started laughing out loud AND she is rolling over already. Guess that means no swaddling her arms any more. Anybody else think this is a rough transition? She was sleeping so well with the swaddle! We’re starting to get the hang of it, but funny how things change to something new just when you get the hang of the last stage. She seems to still have her startle reflex, so it has been interesting. Any tips/tricks? I started with one arm, then the next arm…then, I gave her a lovey so that her hands would grab that instead of her pacifier. She always takes the pacifier out of her mouth and then wakes up…should I be ditching the pacifier? 🙂 Also, now she gets colder at night, without being fully swaddled. We may need to start using a space heater…although I don’t mind snuggling with her to keep her warm, either! It probably doesn’t help that I am also trying to not let her nap in the swing as much. Despite all these changes, she is still a super happy baby, so I definitely can’t complain. We are so lucky to have her in our lives.
